Impact of Adverse Event Reporting guidelines

28th

Sept
2010

Silver Fern is taking part in a BHBIA initiative to measure the impact of the revised ABPI/BHBIA Adverse Event Reporting Guidelines on the industry. We will be collating data on the volume and context of Adverse Event reports over a ten week period. The aim is to create a database of the number and type of AEs reported, the format of the reports, the context of an individual patient verses a group of patients, and the consent rate for contact/follow up by Drug Safety. Clients can rest assured that the information collected will not contain any personal data, nor any confidential information about their company - the database will be used solely for the analysis purposes by the BHBIA AE Reporting in Market Research Task Force as part of their feedback process.
